RobMorse > I took this photo on the sands of Kings Beach on the North shore of Lake Tahoe. I was shopping with the love of my life, left the store to retrieve something from the car and was presented with a lake of turquoise and gold. The sun had just tucked it self away behind the majestic mountain peaks leaving an explosion of color on the lake and in the sky. I grabed my Nikon and sprinted across the street, through traffic, and down to the waters edge. I set my camera on the sand, took a deep breath to steady myself, pressed the shutter button, and in 2.5 seconds captured the sweet leftovers of this amazing sunset.
